So much talk about baby snacks lately…What is safe? What is healthy? What should I avoid? etc. There’s a few key ingredients I try to avoid, but I try not to stress too much about snacks as I’m still learning what is actually safe and healthy. I do always try to avoid added sugars/high sugar count, corn syrup, artificial flavors, too much salt, GMOs, anything rice based, fried and really anything that’s not considered “healthy” aka any junk food.
I’ll continue updating this post with snacks we have on rotation so feel free to bookmark it. I’m still learning new information about baby foods and ingredients everyday. These may not be the best options or need a little bit more filtering so don’t hesitate to comment with any suggestions/changes you’d recommend 🙂 PS you can click each photo to take you to product details.
WHERE I BUY BABY & TODDLER SNACKS
I usually buy his snacks from Target, Whole Foods, or lately, Thrive Market. I saw Thrive Market floating around social media for a good year or so now and decided to give it a try. They have so many organic snack options as well as products with clean ingredients for less than you would find in stores. You can get an additional 25% off your first Thrive order by clicking HERE.
FAVORITE SNACK CONTAINERS
I love these washable, reusable, non-toxic, dishwasher & microwave safe zip up bags that also come in the cutest animal shapes and all sorts of shapes/sizes for on-the-go or storing food in the fridge. I also love this snack spinner container and these straw/snack cups that doubles as a snack holder on top and drink on the bottom…both genius ideas!
