How to Create the Perfect Eyebrows

Eyebrows are everything! They help shape your face and make your eyes pop. I didn’t start doing my eyebrows until a year or two ago, and I’m not sure why I never did. I always thought having them threaded and occasionally tinted was enough but it wasn’t until I played around with filling them in and creating an arch that I realized how big of a difference they make in completing my makeup routine. Even on days I don’t do my makeup, I always make sure to fill in my brows.

I have raved about Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow products countless times and so excited to partner with Nordstrom to share how I use their new Signature Brow Kit to create the perfect eyebrow.

In the Anastasia Signature Brow Kit (I use the color dark brown), you’ll find brow stencils, the brow powder duo, a brow pencil, the 7B brow brush that has a spoolie on the other end, and my holy grail clear brow gel that holds my eyebrows in place all day long. The brow kit also comes with a detailed pamphlet with pictures giving you step-by-step instructions on how to correctly match the stencils to your eyebrow shape and then use it to help give you the perfect arch.

The pamphlet also walks you through how to create the perfect brows using the rest of the products in the kit. First, using the stencil, fill in your eyebrows with the powder and 7B brush. Then, create hair-like strokes with the eyebrow pencil. Finish off the look by lightly brushing your now perfectly arched brows with the clear eye brow gel. I love the Anastasia brow gel because it helps keep my hairs in place and really helps hold the arch throughout the day. It goes on completely clear and doesn’t flake off at all. Because my eyebrows are already on the darker side, I tend to skip the pencil step but like to use it on its own for a more natural/less filled in brow especially if they are freshly tinted or to help touch up any areas as the last step. The 7B brush is so precise making it really easy to create an arch and fill in my brow that it really sold me on adding an eyebrow powder to my routine vs just a pencil when I first started doing my eyebrows. Be sure to check out my Instagram Stories for a full tutorial and I’ll be sure to save it to my highlights as well in case you miss it.

Also, since Nordstrom is my one-stop shop for all things beauty, I’ll be sure to link a few favorites in the shop widget below that I used including Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place Foundation for full coverage, Vitamin-infused mascara primer that pairs perfectly with any mascara to create bold lashes while helping them grow, and the ever so famous Pillow Talk lip color combo that looks amazing on all skin tones (they have a limited edition value kit here or you can get the lipstick, lip liner, or lipgloss separately). I have also really been loving this airbrush bronzer and use it often as eyeshadow after finishing off my bronzer step for a natural bronzed look.

Thank you Nordstrom for sponsoring today’s post. As always, all opinions are my own.
