Looking back at 2017 I feel so blessed, but I would be lying if I said it was all easy. It started off on a rough patch with a family member in the Emergency who thank God is doing much better, getting put on hold for school after finishing a semester due to a mistake they found in my transcript from 2014 leading me to transfer to a different program because I didn’t want to be pushed back a semester, changed jobs which put me back on night shift, I stopped working out, I cared so much of what others thought/said about me, I struggled finding clinical preceptors, and got into my first car accident. 2017 had a ton of changes, good and bad, lots of tough lessons & forgiving, but I got to travel to places I’ve never been, learned lessons I would’ve never learned, and experienced events I never thought I would ever experience.
There is so much to be grateful for and even in all the bad, you have to look at the bright side! My car got hit, but everyone was ok. I had to transfer schools, but now I will finish faster. I’m back on night shift, but I am able to work part-time through school, people said mean things about me, but I was able to forgive and learn that their opinions about me don’t define me…. catch my vibes?!

In 2018, I want to live in the moment, trust God in every aspect of my life, love more, take care of my body more, and just enjoy every day to the fullest. Thanks so much for being such a huge part of my life and for making this a year to remember in so many ways! Happiest New Year! XO!
