Hi friends! I feel like it has been F.O.R.E.V.E.R! I’m so happy to be back & I’ll update you all on what has been going on, but first…. Let me take a selfie! JK First, I want to share a few staples that I found that I have found myself re-wearing a ton lately!
My top, jeans, bag, and open toe booties are all so versatile and affordable! I have this top in several different colors and have been wearing it with shorts or jeans. They will also be great for layering since the sleeves are pretty skin tight. I also love them tucked in or out. It is a very delicate, stretchy material in case you were wondering 🙂
These ripped jeans can be worn with tees & tanks or sweaters and closed toe booties as it cools down. You all know I LOVE them and have had a few questions about them… They are GREAT quality and although the rips are way more dramatic than I am used to, I love the placement and the fact that they are not distressed anywhere else. I am 5’4, so I have debated cutting the bottoms, but I really like the color contrast with them folded. Sometimes when I fold the bottom of my jeans, I feel like they make my legs look short and stubby but I don’t feel like these do because they are high-waisted and the nude booties help elongate. Speaking of high-waisted, I am wearing my true size, but I think I should’ve sized up. Depending on how far along my food baby is, the unwanted camel toe decides to pay a visit and can feel a little snug lol
I’ve talked about these open toe ankle booties a few times, so let me know if you have any questions on them in the comments below. Here are a few pictures of this outfit before I give you a little life update 🙂

A friend of ours from Romania spent the last two weeks with us. He was actually in the States for the Comrade Detective series premiere (he played one of the main characters) that just came out on Amazon Prime a few weeks ago and spent some time with us before going back home. It was so fun to have him around and we both wish he would’ve stayed longer.
Aside from that I have been swamped with school work the past month and can’t wait to catch a break after next week! My classes are fast paced and crammed into mostly five weeks at a time. I decided to double up this period by taking one five week course and one ten week course at the same time. Never again. It’s been so crazy and I can’t wait to be done with the five week one so I can just focus on the last half of the other class. I also travel to different ERs and my contract is about to come to an end, so I’m pretty nervous to start at a different place soon. Change is good, but it can be super overwhelming! When I feel super stressed or overwhelmed I just trust God and know that He doesn’t give me more than I can handle. If you’re on the same boat with anything in life, remember that. And keep your eye on the prize. Take it one step at a time and all your hard work will eventually pay off.
