This has to be one of my favorite blog posts so far! I love cold shoulder tops & peplums so this one is best of both worlds. I especially love the blue top against the buildings and blue doors from Place Vendome (insert heart eyes!) I am trying to spread out some of my Europe posts so I don’t tire you all with them, but this was the second outfit I wore in Europe. We got to our hotel for a quick outfit change from this outfit and started exploring the gorgeous city! I still feel like it was all a dream. Paris is just breathtaking!
Funny story about this top…. After exploring for a few hours, we went back to the hotel so my husband can charge his phone to use his Maps app (note to self: buy a portable charger next trip!) I didn’t mind because I was running on 4 hours of sleep and was so tired, so I took a nap during that time. I was wearing a tank under this, so I took this top off so I wouldn’t wrinkle it and slept. After I woke up and put it back on, my husband was like your shirt is on backwards. Mind you, this was after a bunch of other jokes (he’s a jokester) and I was like “ha ha very funny!” and fixed my hair and left. We walked around the city, ate, and then walked along the river towards the Eiffel Tower to get on a boat tour. Towards the end of the tour, I was sitting with my legs crossed and elbow resting on my leg and started playing with my top’s neckline and felt a tag. I looked at my husband with huge eyes… “my shirt is on backwards!” We couldn’t stop laughing because I thought he was totally kidding earlier! Needless to say, this top can be worn backwards and forwards hhaha!
